  2. Download your OS below → double-click the launcher
  3. Log in → plug in phone → bookmark localhost:8742/d

macOS

Drag to Applications, then open. No Terminal. First launch: right-click → Open if macOS warns about an unidentified developer.

Download .dmg Download .app (zip)
  1. Open .dmg → drag PhoneForge to Applications
  2. Right-click PhoneForge → Open → click Open (once)
  3. After that, double-click normally
  4. Needs Python 3.8+ on your Mac

Windows

Python 3.12 required. Download the installer or use phoneforge.net/python312 (Add to PATH; 3.13 and 3.14 do not work). Unzip PhoneForge (Unblock first if needed), then double-click CLICK HERE TO START.bat.

Download PhoneForge for Windows Download Python 3.12 (required)
  1. Install Python 3.12 — check Add python.exe to PATH (required; 3.13+ not supported)
  2. Right-click zip → Properties → if you see Unblock, check it → OK
  3. Right-click zip → Extract All
  4. Double-click CLICK HERE TO START.bat
  5. Stuck? Run PhoneForge-Help.bat — saves a report to your Desktop
  6. Do not copy only .bat files elsewhere — keep the whole folder

Linux

Unzip, make PhoneForge executable, double-click or run ./PhoneForge.

Download for Linux
  1. Unzip → open PhoneForge folder
  2. chmod +x PhoneForge (or Properties → Allow executing)
  3. Double-click PhoneForge
  4. Needs python3, pip, lsof

After download

1. Sign up at phoneforge.net (if you haven’t)
2. Run the launcher for your OS — browser opens the dashboard
3. Log in inside the dashboard
4. Plug in your phone via USB
